Common Questions

Answers to frequently asked questions about our mobile notary services in Delaware County.

What should I bring?

Please have a valid, government-issued photo ID available for each person signing the document. Also have all documents ready for notarization, but do not sign them until instructed by the notary. If you have any questions about your documents before the appointment, please contact the person or organization that prepared them.

What forms of ID are accepted?

Acceptable identification includes a current government-issued photo ID, such as:

  • Driver's License

  • State Identification Card

  • U.S. or Foreign Passport

  • Military Identification (where permitted)

Identification must meet Pennsylvania notarial requirements. If you are unsure whether your ID is acceptable, please contact me before your appointment.

Can you travel to hospitals or care facilities?

Yes! I proudly provide mobile notary services at:

  • Hospitals

  • Nursing homes

  • Assisted living communities

  • Rehabilitation facilities

  • Hospice facilities

  • Private residences

  • Businesses and law offices

I bring professional notary services directly to your location for your convenience.

Do I need witnesses?

It depends on the document you are signing.

Some documents require witnesses, while others do not. If witnesses are required, that requirement is typically stated within the document or provided by the attorney or organization that prepared it.

As a notary public, I cannot determine whether witnesses are legally required or provide legal advice.

If witnesses are required and I am asked to serve as a witness (when permitted) or additional witnesses are needed, those services may involve additional fees. Please let me know your needs when scheduling your appointment.

Do you provide legal advice?

No.

As a Pennsylvania Notary Public, I am not an attorney and cannot provide legal advice, explain legal documents, or advise you on which documents you should sign.

My role is to verify identities, witness signatures, and perform authorized notarial acts in accordance with Pennsylvania law.

What payment methods are accepted?

Payment is due at the time services are rendered.

I accept:

  • Credit Cards

  • Cash

  • Venmo

  • PayPal

Please note that I do not accept personal checks.
